| Gyeongsangnam-do, also known as Gyeongnam, is located at the southeastern end of the Korean Peninsula. The province is bordered by Gyeongsangbuk-do to the north, Ulsan Metropolitan City and the East Sea to the east, Jeollabuk-do and Jeollanam-do to the west, and the Korea Strait to the south. The provincial capital of Gyeongsangnam-do is Changwon. |

| Mild Climate |
|
| Gyeongsangnam-do has one of the mildest climates in South Korea. The province¡¯s weather and temperatures are greatly affected by the sea, as southern and eastern areas both have vast coastal regions. The northwestern areas are very mountainous, with high peaks that help to block cold northeastern winds. |

| The Cities of Gyeongnam: In Harmony with Nature and People |
|
Gyeongnam is considered to have a heavenly environment, with clean seas, beautiful mountains and green valleys. The province is also known for preserving the traditional culture, national treasures and cultural assets of Korea.
The provincial capital of Changwon is a systematically-constructed city, with industrial complexes, commercial complexes, apartment complexes and many parks throughout the city. The main streets of Changwon are laid out in a grid pattern.

Masan International Theatre Festival - With the slogan ¡®Masan into the World, Theatre into the World,' the Masan International Theatre Festival aims to develop local culture through the internationalization of its theatre. Since its 8th festival, the Masan International Theatre Festival has included performances and mutual exchanges with theatre troupes from Japan, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Russia, Kazakhstan and Bulgaria.

- Starting Date: Throughout the year
- Salary: 2.1-2.65mil won (Depends on Qualification, click the pay scale )
- Working hours: 8:30 a.m. ~ 4:30 p.m.
- Teaching Hours: 22 hours per week
- 300,000 won Settlement pay upon teacher is arrival
- Round trip airfare: One way reimbursed upon teacher¡¯s arrival (1.3million KRW) and the other will
be paid (1.3million KRW) when you complete your contract.Even though you are in Korea, airfare
will be paid (1.3million KRW) when you start working.

- Signed and sealed recommendation letter from academic or professional sources
- Must include the name, status, address, contact number and signature of the reference.)
- Copy of diploma(s) or Original proof of enrollment
- should be attached with an apostille or with verification issued by official Korean institutions such as the Korean Council for University Education (KCUE); applicants from a country that does not have an agreement with the Apostille Convention (such as Canada), should attach a notary from the Korean Consulate/Embassy in your country or verification issued by KCUE
- Original proof of enrollment must show completion of at least two academic years
- Three Original sealed transcripts
- 1 sealed transcript sent to woknplay. 2 sealed transcripts to take with you to the Korean Consulate/Embassy when you apply for the E2visa.
- Criminal record check with Apostille stamp
- Should be done on a local level or above and should be verified by an apostille
- Applicants from Canada or other countries that do not have an agreement with the Apostille Convention should submit a criminal record check notarized by the Korean Consulate/Embassy; however, Korean residents who have a criminal record check from one of the foreign diplomatic offices in Korea are exempt from the apostille verification process
- Verification should be issued by official institutions (of the applicant's government in his/her country or by foreign diplomatic offices in Korea) and must have been issued within 6 months at most before submitting all the required documents.
- Copy of passport photo page
- (If applicable) Copies of certification (teacher certification, TESOL, etc)
- (If applicable) Proof of teaching/work experience
- Copy of citizenship or a copy of legal residence certificate(for Korean nationals)
- If English is not your first language (born in a non-English speaking country), then you must be able to provide proof of English education beginning from junior high school level.
