¢º Incheon Metropolitan City
International City

Incheon City is a gateway to Northeast Asia with both international port and international airport in its hand. Incheon was the first city to accept Western culture in 1883 and has always been at the centre of Korea 's modernization.
Today, over 2.6mil people live in its 10 dongs called ¡®du' and ¡®gun' as well as more than 150 beautiful islands of Gangwa and Ongin, Incheon is now one of the three major cities of Korea .
One and only Coastal city, Subway connected to Seoul

Incheon is located in the mid-west Korea peninsula abutting the Yellow Sea. A city is connected to Seoul by Subway. You could get to Seoul within 1hr. There are seven industrial complexes in the region, including Namdong and Bupyeong, which host more than 7,400 companies altogether. As of September 2005, the city has a total population of 2,628,000 with more than 872,000 households. Incheon is now rapidly developing into the third largest city in Korea, with Seoul and Busan being the first and the second largest, respectively.
Wolmido Island - Wolmido Island was an island about 1 km off the Incheon coast, but with the creation of the highway, became part of the mainland. There are about 50 seafood restaurants all in one area, so you can enjo fresh raw fish dishes. It's not as large as other theme parks in Korea, but the Apollo Disco and the Viking rides here are famous for their first class thrills! The Apollo Disco ride is fun just watching.

China Town - Incheon's Chinatown area came into being with the opening of the Incheon Port in 1883 and Incheon's designation as an extraterritoriality of the Ching Dynasty. Today, the Chinese residents of
Chinatown are mostly 2nd or 3rd generations of early Chinese settlers. While not all traditional cultures of the first generation have been preserved, the area still harbors many of the flavors of China .

Incheon-China Day Cultural Festival- Incheon, presents festivities in Bukseong-dong Chinatown and Jayu Park in October where people can directly experience and enjoy Chinese culture.

Some of the events include dragon dances, tiger dances, parades, and demonstrations of traditional Chinese martial arts, as well as jajangmyeon noodle festivals involving cooking skills(fitting, as Incheon is the home of jajangmyeon) and eating contests. http://www.inchinaday.com/
Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival- is held in every Summer for 2nights, 3days. Along with Huji Rock Festival in Japan , It's becoming one of the international Rock festivals. Its line up is fantastic!! You can camp here during the festival. Don't miss this great chance to eat, sleep and breathe with ROCK!! http://www.pentaportrock.com/
