Introduction

South Korea is an economic and technological powerhouse poised to become a global leader in many fields. Still, fluency in English, the international language, eludes most Koreans. The Korean people are acutely aware of this, so they work hard to give their children the best possible opportunities to learn English directly from native speakers. In terms of being able to save money while still living well, no other Asian country can compete with South Korea as a destination for potential teachers.

WorknPlay Consulting was founded in the belief that providing South Korea's future leaders access to high-caliber native English speakers will help them attain fluency in English and develop a globalized worldview that will benefit all Koreans.

Similarly, ensuring that foreign English teachers, many of whom eventually return home to careers in business and government, have positive experience in Korea is a major strategy for improving South Korea's image in the eyes of the world. We believe this two-fold path to the future must be built on a foundation of trust, hard work, and human relationships.

In order to achieve our high expectations, our company brings together a world-class recruiting team, state of the art web department, and veteran overseas representatives. At WorknPlay Consulting , we believe in our work and are proud to have already had a positive impact on the English-learning environment in South Korea.

WorknPlay Consulting is contracted with the Ministry of Education and, as such, we are able to place hundreds of teachers in public & private school jobs every year. In the native English teacher community in South Korea, these jobs are even preferred over many University professorships.

Native English speakers bring with them more than just their native accents. They usually bring into the classroom creative and flexible thinking that Western schools cultivate. This is why native English teachers are so highly valued in Korea.

Public School Opportunities
Public school opportunities for native speaker English teachers exist across the Korean Peninsula. Elementary, Middle and High Schools are looking for teachers excited to share their language and culture with students. Korea has a number of metropolitan, mid-sized and rural areas, each with their own pace, personality and cultural offerings.
