This province is popular for hiking in its mountainous national, provincial and county parks. While Buddhist temples take advantage of the serenity of hilly areas, off-shore islands provide a busy spot to sunbathe in the summertime. Winters draw skiers and snow boarders to the slopes of the Muju Ski Resort, one of the more popular winter sport destinations in the country. |
