Testimonials
"To whom it may concern:

I was very satisfied with my experience with Julie at WorknPlay Consulting. In November, my friend and I began looking for jobs in Korea . We informed several recruiters that we wanted to teach English in a more beautiful area, and we wanted to live in the same housing. We had never
traveled in Korea , and were not familiar with the process of applying for jobs here, but we had been advised by friends to go through a recruiter. Julie at WorknPlay Consulting was very quick to reply to our job query. She called us on the telephone the same day we e-mailed our request, and she spoke English very well

Julie called several times and updated us on new job opportunities in Korea. When she offered us teaching jobs with the public school in Yeosu, we decided to accept.

After we accepted her job offer, Julie was very helpful and informative about all of the steps we needed to complete. She was very prompt and thorough in replying to our questions. She was also very friendly in her correspondence.

Once we had our visas, and were ready to travel, Julie arranged our complete flight itinerary and directed us to a travel agent in Manhattan, who took our credit card payment over the phone. Our flight progressed exactly as it was planned in the itinerary.
Once we arrived in Seoul, about one month after we accepted Julie¡¯s job offer, she met us at the airport and brought us to a very nice guesthouse with a good, hot shower and comfortable beds. She arranged transportation to and from Incheon airport and instructed us on how to
take the bus from Incheon airport to Gimpo airport the next day in order to board our flight to Yeosu. Having a good night¡¯s rest before flying to Yeosu to meet our employers was invaluable.

Now that we are in Yeosu, I am very pleased with how our respective employers have helped us settle into our life and work here.

Our co-teachers gave us a tour of the nearest large department store, where we have been able to buy necessities like dishes, utensils, cookware, toiletries, and food. They also have arranged our travel to and from school until we are familiar with the bus system. So far, it seems as though our employers plan to carry out everything that was outlined in the original contract. Our experience with Julie and WorknPlay Consulting has been very pleasant and very reliable. It feels as though we made the right decision." Sincerely,

"I graduated from college with the feelings that many of my fellow graduates have: What am I going to do now? Living and working in South Korea literally fell into my lap ? I did not know anyone else who had done it and when I spoke of my plans most people thought I was crazy. However,
once I got in contact with Gloria Hwang at WorknPlay Consulting, my idea finally became a real possibility.

Prior to working with Gloria, I had looked over many job offers and spoke with several recruiters but still didn't find a contract I was happy with. Just when I thought I may have to re-evaluate what I was looking for, I came across WorknPlay Consulting. Gloria worked with me from start to finish until I was able to confidently sign a contract. Any questions and/or concerns I had, she or one of her colleagues did their best to help.

I doubt I would have been able to find a position like the one I found without their assistance and access to schools. I strongly suggest WorknPlay Consulting if you are looking to teach in South Korea, especially if you are a newbie like myself and not already in the area. My only regret is that I did not come across them sooner."

"In attempting to find an English teaching position in Korea, I went back and forth with several companies and dozens of recruiters. Without a doubt, Gloria at Work N Play was the most consistently helpful and personable. Every time I e-mailed her, I knew I could count on hearing back from her within a few hours.

Besides being responsive, she's very genuine and likeable and not at all pushy. She's also quite patient; I pestered her for weeks and apparently never got on her nerves...! She found me a great job and I'm quite happy I made contact with her."

"I applied for a job at WorknPlay Consulting with my friend, and they were really helpful in getting us a job together. Our correspondent, Julie, was really helpful and always answered emails quickly with answers to all our questions. She got us email addresses of people at school so we could ask
them questions as well which was really helpful. We felt like we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves in for, and when we got here everything was exactly as described! I would definitely recommend WorknPlay Consulting as a recruiter, and would happily use them again in the future. "

"My whole experience with WorknPlay Consulting has been fantastic. They were very helpful, especially Julie. We got a range of jobs to choose from and once we'd decided which one to take we were guided through the whole process smoothly. Now we are really happy with the school and Julie has kept contact with us now we are in Korea to help us settle in happily. I would recommend others to go use WorknPlay Consulting."

"My experience with WorknPlay Consulting has been very positive. My contact, Julie, has been a great support. Thou I encountered many problems during my visa application process Julie was consistently patient and always helpful. She has been invaluable to me.

Julie's assistance and positive voice has also been an essential comfort. Transitioning from the US to Asia is difficult enough, especially when you're not exactly sure what you are getting into, and it was comforting to know that she would be around to help when I arrived in Seoul.

And she has been! Julie answered all of my questions before my departure and she has continued to prove helpful since. I believe that she has gone above and beyond, directing me to Korean language schools and including me in a WorknPlay Consulting weekend trip to Gyeongsangbuk-do.

The support of Julie, and WorknPlay Consulting has been crucial to my move and transition to life in Seoul!"

" WorknPlay Consulting set me up with a great job with one of the most reputable schools in the city where I am living. My bosses are so nice and helpful and my apartment is perfect--clean, modern, and in a neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and things to do.

Several foreign teachers at my school have been here for almost 2 years, which is proof of the quality of the school and how they treat their teachers. During the whole recruiting process, Julie, of WorknPlay Consulting, was in touch with me every single day and walked me through the entire process. Then, when I got here, she made sure that everything was fine. I will definitely recommend Julie of WorknPlay Consulting to anybody considering teaching in Ksssorea. Thank you for all of your help."

"I have just had the best experience working with Julie. I have dealt with WorknPlay Consulting before, and was not impressed with the services provided. I was very hesitant to go back. But after the wonderful help Julie provided, I will continue using WorknPlay Consulting and will recommend your services to my friends
Julie is knowledgeable, quick to reply to E-mails, organized, and has a very high command of the English language, all of which, especially the organized part, are essential for dealing with Westerners. She is a great asset to your staff.

Thank you."
